Frequently asked questions

Can I fit a standard strap on the Bulgari Octo 103506?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the case: there's no standard lug where you can thread a strap. I've seen many failed attempts. The solution is to have one made to measure directly on the watch, in the atelier.

How does the made-to-measure strap work for this model?

We work exclusively at Casati Milano, by appointment only. I take measurements directly from the case, studying the polyhedral lugs. Each strap is hand-modelled to integrate perfectly with the titanium case geometry.

Which leather would I recommend for the Octo 103506?

Mississippi Alligator: the titanium has a sporty, rigorous geometry, and this leather responds with the same precision. It has a natural grip that contrasts beautifully with the hardness of the metal case. It ages nobly.

How long does a well-made strap last?

It depends on wear and care. With regular use and occasional cleaning, it will resist 5–8 years before showing its first visible wear. The leather continues to live, to change colour, to patina. That's not a weakness: it's how a true strap tells time.

Why did Bulgari choose titanium for the Octo?

Bulgari chose titanium because it resists the complex geometry of the case. The eighth side, the angles, the cut surfaces: titanium keeps these lines sharp without weighing down the wrist. It's sporty and elegant at once. A strap must respect this material choice.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
