Strap replacement is accomplished by extracting the spring bars (lugs) situated at the case sides, between the crown guard and caseback. Use a spring bar tool to apply controlled pressure on the small hooks that retain the pin, then carefully extract the pin. Repeat for the opposite side. New strap installation follows the reverse process. Avoid torsional stress on the case during this operation.
