The strap is replaced by removing the spring bars that secure the bracelet or strap to the case lugs. A dedicated spring bar tool with a fine tip is required. Given the precious two-tone finish of the case, it is advisable to protect the lugs with a soft cloth during the operation, or to entrust the procedure to a watchmaker to avoid scratching the polished surfaces.
