The lug width of the TI14-DA.50 measures exactly 20mm, taken internally from edge to edge. This dimension is compatible with our standard artisanal watch straps, engineered to fit seamlessly onto the grade 5 titanium case lugs. The internal depth of the lugs is approximately 5.5mm, ideal for straps with a 4-5mm thickness.

For the TI14-DA.50, we recommend an alligator strap with vegetable tanning in pearl grey or tortoise tones, which naturally dialogues with the titanium case. Alternatively, dark brown veal leather with vintage grain offers elegant contrast. For more dynamic usage, a NATO strap in grey anthracite Cordura maintains coherence with the technical aesthetic of the skeletonized movement.

Strap replacement requires a spring bar of 1.5mm diameter. Position the watch on a soft support, locate the lug holes, insert the removal tool from the underside of the lug, compress the spring bar and extract the old strap. Insert the new strap ensuring the spring bar is fully seated in both holes before releasing pressure.

Yes, any strap with a 20mm lug width and 4-5mm thickness is compatible. Our artisanal Milano Straps are constructed to Swiss watchmaking tolerances and guarantee a perfect fit on the Gravity lugs without play. We advise against commercial straps exceeding 5.5mm thickness, which may cause excessive friction.

A high-quality alligator or veal strap, under moderate daily use, has an average lifespan of 3-5 years. Vegetable tanning determines a natural patina that deepens the original colour. Factors such as direct sun exposure, constant humidity and perspiration accelerate ageing. Regular maintenance—gentle cleaning with a damp cloth and annual conditioning—extends durability and preserves patina aesthetics.
