The Lange 1 117.028 (aka: 117028), seen from the bench

The A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 reference 117.028 is a landmark timepiece presented in 1994, marking the revival of Glashütte manufacture after decades of closure. It features an asymmetrical dial hosting hours, minutes, small seconds, and the patented Große Datum (large date) in a visually striking composition. The white gold case measures 40.9mm in diameter and houses the in-house L095.1 caliber with hand-engraved platinum bridges and Côtes de Genève finishing. The lug width is 20mm, designed to accommodate the original crocodile leather strap with white gold deployant clasp.
