The Lange 1 was introduced in 1994 as the first model of the revival of A. Lange & Söhne after German reunification. It is equipped with the in-house manual-winding caliber L095.1 with hour, minute, small second and large date display, characteristic of the brand. The reference 117.021 features an asymmetric dial layout with off-center seconds subdial and large date window.
