The Lange 1 was introduced in 1994 as the first model of the revival of A. Lange & Söhne after German reunification. It is equipped with the manual-winding manufacture caliber L901.0 with hour, minute, off-center small second, large date, and power reserve indications. The case features the characteristic asymmetric dial layout with the large date positioned at 1 o'clock.
