Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap to the TAG Heuer Link WBC2110.BA0603?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the case. The lug attachment is proprietary and a standard strap won't fit. What I do in the atelier is craft a custom strap directly onto your case, studying precisely how the leather should dialogue with the Link's geometry.

How does the custom strap work for the Link?

We work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15. I take measurements straight from your case, tracing the interface between steel and the new strap. It's bespoke work: nothing off-the-shelf, only what your watch needs.

Which leather do you recommend for the TAG Heuer Link?

I prefer Tuscan leather with vegetable tanning. It has the solidity the Link deserves — sporty in character, yet capable of ageing with personality. If you want something more urban and refined, Swift Premium works well, but Tuscan leather tells your watch's story better than anything else.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With good leather and proper care, it lasts years — often longer than you'd expect. It depends on wear: daily wearers see changes in the first 2–3 years, a patina that becomes increasingly beautiful. A little balm now and then, avoid prolonged moisture, and the leather lives with you rather than wearing out.

Why does the Link have an integrated bracelet, and what does that mean for a strap?

It's a deliberate design choice: that woven mesh geometry is part of the watch's architecture, not a removable bracelet. That's why a custom strap must respect that line. I'm not erasing the Link's character — I'm reinterpreting it, letting you move between leather and steel whilst keeping the elegance TAG Heuer designed.
