I prefer Tuscan Leather for this watch. The Link has a sporty-elegant soul, and Tuscan leather ages with character, developing a patina that matches that personality. Swift for pure elegance, but Tuscan leather makes more sense with this geometry.

With ordinary care, 4–5 years of regular wear. Quality leather ages rather than wears out: it becomes softer, the patina deepens. If you protect it from excess moisture and treat it occasionally, it lasts even longer.

It's a deliberate design choice from the '90s. The interconnected 'S'-shaped bracelet is conceived as a continuation of the case, not as a separate component. The space between case and leather must be calibrated precisely to maintain that visual fluidity. That's why bespoke is the only serious option.
