Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard leather strap to the TAG Heuer Link CJF2150.BB0595?

No. The bracelet is integrated into the case, the lugs are not standard. A regular strap will not attach properly. I've seen people try to force it: the result disappoints and risks damaging the case. The answer is to build a custom strap directly on your watch, which is what we do in the atelier.

How does the bespoke tailoring work for this model?

You bring the watch to me. I measure directly from the geometry of the two-tone lugs, studying how the bracelet wraps around the case. I craft a custom strap to integrate seamlessly, without compromise. Everything happens by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15.

Which leather do you recommend for the TAG Heuer Link?

I prefer crocodile or cartella for this chronograph. The Link is both sporty and refined: the leather must breathe that duality. Nothing overly soft. Cartella ages beautifully, developing a patina that deepens the watch's character over time.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With thoughtful use, a good strap lasts 4 to 6 years, sometimes longer. It depends on how you treat it: don't let it rot with sweat, clean it occasionally, give it a touch of cream now and then. Leather ages—that's right. One day we might restore it, or build you a new one.

Why does the Link CJF2150 require special consultation?

It was born in the '80s as a synthesis of sporty elegance. Its integrated-bracelet architecture, especially in the two-tone version, leaves no room for improvisation. I've worked on many Links: each one deserves careful study of the lugs, a leather choice that honours the original design intention. It's not a simple swap—it's tailoring.
