I prefer crocodile or cartella for this chronograph. The Link is both sporty and refined: the leather must breathe that duality. Nothing overly soft. Cartella ages beautifully, developing a patina that deepens the watch's character over time.

With thoughtful use, a good strap lasts 4 to 6 years, sometimes longer. It depends on how you treat it: don't let it rot with sweat, clean it occasionally, give it a touch of cream now and then. Leather ages—that's right. One day we might restore it, or build you a new one.
