You can verify it by measuring with a digital calliper the distance between the case lugs at the strap attachment point.

There is no single 'best' strap in absolute terms, but rather the correct choice for your lifestyle. For formal contexts, we recommend vegetable-tanned alligator or calf leather. For sporting and aquatic use, a technical FKM rubber strap or nylon NATO guarantee practicality and durability. Thick calf leather in cognac or brown tones offers the finest aesthetic and functional compromise for daily wear.

The strap is replaced by removing the spring bars from the case lugs. Position the watch face-down on a soft surface, identify the lateral holes under the lugs, insert a soft removal tool (never metal) to avoid scratches, and gently extract the spring bar. Remove the old strap and insert the new one by aligning it with the lugs. If you lack experience, entrust the operation to a professional watchmaker to prevent damage.

All straps with a 20-millimetre lug width are compatible, regardless of brand. You may choose between leather (alligator, calf, crocodile), rubber, NATO fabric, or technical synthetics. Quality vegetable-tanned calf lasts 3–5 years under normal conditions, accounting for regular contact with perspiration, water, and friction. Vegetable-tanned alligator resists 4–7 years. Critical factors: avoid prolonged moisture, do not excessively bend the ends, and periodically nourish the leather with specific creams. Seasonal use significantly extends strap life.
