Frequently asked questions

Can I fit a standard strap on the Piaget Polo G0A37004?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and the attachment is proprietary. A commercial strap won't fit. To change the strap, I build it bespoke directly on your watch: it's the only respectful way.

How does the bespoke strap work for the Polo?

Visit the Atelier Casati Milano by appointment only. I take measurements directly from the case, study how the integrated bracelet dialogues with the case geometry, and build everything by hand. It's not quick, but it's precise.

Which leather do I recommend for the Piaget Polo?

I prefer leather that ages well and has body: alligator or fine calf. The Polo is a sporty-elegant watch, born in 1979 with strong character. It needs leather that withstands time and doesn't disappear against that titanium.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With daily wear and ordinary care, 8–12 years. It depends on the leather: it ages gracefully if you protect it from running water, don't bend it unnaturally. After that, if you want, we rebuild everything new without touching the watch.

Why does the Polo have an integrated bracelet?

It was designed in 1979 as a manifesto of coherence between form and function. That continuity between case and bracelet is not a detail, it's the design intent. That's why a strap must respect that architecture, not deny it.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
