Strap for Kalpa Donna 'Ouranos'
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Parmigiani Fleurier Kalpa PFC1600043300B00402 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fit a standard strap to the Parmigiani Fleurier Kalpa PFC1600043300B00402?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case — there is no standard lug where you can attach a strap. I've seen many owners stuck facing this constraint. In the atelier I solve it by building a custom attachment directly onto the case, respecting the original tonneau geometry.
How does the made-to-measure strap work for the Kalpa?
I work only at Casati Milano, by appointment. You arrive with the watch, I take measurements directly from the case — from the curve of the lugs to the precise width — and build the attachment in the workshop. It's the only way to preserve Michel Parmigiani's design.
Which leather do you recommend for the Kalpa?
I prefer Mississippi Alligator for those who love sporty character — the spiky grain dialogues well with the sculptural lugs and geometric case. If you seek elegance without compromise, naturally aged Barenia offers that warm patina the asymmetric tonneau deserves.
How long does a well-made strap last?
Four to seven years of daily wear, depending on how you treat it. Leather is not plastic — it breathes, ages, tells the story of your wrist. If you care for it, an Alligator or Barenia gains character. If you ignore it, it wears out. That's how I recognise who truly loves the watch they wear.
Why is the crown positioned at 12 o'clock on the Kalpa?
It's Parmigiani's signature — an act of watchmaking anticonformism against the canon. With the crown at the top, the case reads as pure architecture, not as a watch. I've built hundreds of straps, but the Kalpa remains a lesson in radical proportion. It deserves an attachment that reflects that choice.
