No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case — there is no proprietary attachment point where you can thread a strap. I've seen many try: it doesn't work. For this model, the strap must be made bespoke in the atelier, directly on the geometry of your case.

We work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15. I take measurements directly from your case: the tonneau geometry demands millimetre precision. Each terminal is shaped by hand to fit perfectly the curves in steel. It's the only way I know to respect the original design.

I prefer Mississippi Alligator for this model. The Kalpa is both sporty and elegant — the fine grain and solidity of alligator reflect that tension. Barenia ages better if you wear it constantly, but if you want that satiny patina straight away, I start with alligator.

It depends on how you use it and how you care for it. With ordinary care — no extreme humidity, no submersion — it lasts 4 to 5 years before it shows fatigue. The leather continues to age beautifully, but the stress points where it meets the case begin to weaken. When that happens, I remake it.

The geometry is not symmetrical — one side of the case is longer than the other. A standard strap won't fit: the proportion would be visibly wrong. By making it bespoke, I follow the real curves of your case and maintain the balance that Michel Parmigiani conceived.
