Strap for TT3 Chronograph Limited Edition
Integrated attachment: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Lug width to be confirmed
On this Oris TT3 01 673 7587 7084-Set the lug width doesn't convince me, and I don't want to give you a number I'm not sure about. Write to me on WhatsApp with the reference or a photo of the watch: I'll check it and tell you myself.
Frequently asked questions
Which strap type pairs best with the titanium TT3?
High-quality alligator leather with subtle patina represents the most elegant choice, creating contrast between the industrial hardness of titanium and the sensuality of natural material. For a more casual approach, vegetable-tanned calf develops fascinating aged patina. NATO straps in robust fabric suit military-functional identity, whilst FKM rubber is the ultimate solution for marine or high-stress environments.
How do you change the strap on an Oris TT3 safely?
Strap replacement requires a dedicated spring bar tool. Gently insert the tool into the lateral grooves of the lug, compress the return spring, and slide the strap out from the case shoulders. Repeat identically for the opposite lug. Work on a soft surface to protect the titanium case from accidental scratches.
What is the typical lifespan of a leather strap on a daily-worn Oris TT3?
An artisanal leather strap with vegetable tanning or alligator guarantees an average lifespan of 3–5 years with daily wear, depending on sun exposure, humidity, and cleaning frequency. Titanium, thanks to its reduced weight and corrosion resistance, does not accelerate strap wear as steel would. Natural patina development increases aesthetic value over time.
