The 434.15.30.60.53.001 model is equipped with lugs of 14mm width. This dimension is specific to the 30mm De Ville and is not interchangeable with other models. To measure correctly, use a digital caliper between the two horizontal attachments of the case: it must be exactly 14mm.

For the 434.15.30.60.53.001 we recommend an alligator with fine grain and vegetable tanning, or aged calf with matte finish. Shell cordovan represents an excellent alternative for those who desire a patina that evolves over time in harmony with the brushed steel. Avoid NATO straps as they flatten the refined construction of the model.

Remove the watch from your wrist. Use a spring bar tool (specific tool for the release pins) to gently lift the metal pin from inside a lug, sliding the old strap outward. Repeat on the other lug. Insert the new strap by sliding the pins into the lugs until you hear a click. If you are not experienced, contact a certified watchmaker to avoid scratches on the case.

The model requires a medium-length strap with approximately 75-80mm of development from the center of the lug to the buckle, and 85-90mm from the opposite side, proportioned for an average wrist circumference between 16 and 19cm.
