We recommend straps in fine-grained alligator, vegetable-tanned calf leather, or shell cordovan for the Symphonette. For a more sports-oriented aesthetic, English NATO woven textile is equally effective. All these materials ensure correct visual proportions and age gracefully on a 24.90mm case.

You will need a spring bar tool—a bifurcated instrument that allows you to gently depress the spring-loaded pins. Position the tool beneath one pin, lift slightly to compress the internal spring, then withdraw the pin. Repeat on the opposite side. Insert the new strap by aligning the holes to the lug ends, then reinsert the pins until the spring seats properly.
