Shell cordovan offers a middle ground with distinctive character and natural patina development over time. NATO fabric straps provide versatility and frequent colour changes.

The change is straightforward: obtain a springbar remover tool (bifurcated-tip implement). Insert the tip under the internal metal lug to release the pin, then remove the old strap. Position the new strap by aligning the holes with the lugs and press the lug until it clicks into place. Verify it is secure by moving the strap laterally. The operation takes 2-3 minutes and requires no technical skill.
