No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach a strap to. The fitting is proprietary and requires bespoke work. In the atelier, I build the strap from the physical case itself, millimetre by millimetre.

I work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case and shape every attachment by hand. There is no template: each strap is built from scratch on that specific piece.

I choose Mississippi alligator in Gold tone or Swift in Étoupe. The Reverso has an elegant, geometric character — a supple leather with a fine grain accompanies that linearity without overpowering it. Pink gold calls for warm tones, not aggressive contrasts.

An alligator strap crafted with care lasts comfortably eight to ten years. The key is rotation: I always alternate two straps and avoid direct contact with water and perfume. Quality leather does not deteriorate — it develops a patina that tells the story of the years worn.

The case rotates on itself to protect the dial — an idea born in 1931 for polo, never bettered in the ninety years since. I have seen few watches where mechanics and form speak to each other so directly. The case back becomes a canvas: some clients bring it engraved, others leave it bare.
