The IWC Ingenieur IW3808-BS embodies Gérald Genta's vision of luxury instrument watchmaking, designed in 1976. It features a 42.30 mm stainless steel case with complete magnetic protection via integrated double Faraday cage and characteristic five-screw bezel. The IWC 69375 calibre delivers chronograph precision with vertical column system, date complication and three counters. The 20 mm lug width accommodates medium-width straps and reflects Genta's proportional design philosophy. A technical statement prioritizing functional purity over visual seduction.
