The Ingenieur IW3808-BI (aka: IW3808BI), seen from the bench

The IWC Ingenieur IW3808-BI is a professional chronograph designed by Gérald Genta in 1976, featuring a 42.30mm stainless steel case with integrated crown protection and a column-wheel chronograph displaying hours, minutes, small seconds, and date. Powered by the IWC 69375 caliber movement, a chronometer-certified column wheel mechanism with ferromagnetic protection for strong magnetic field resistance, this model embodies the functional design philosophy of the Ingenieur collection. The 18mm lug width is precisely matched to the integrated bracelet architecture and cannot be changed without compromising the original design's aesthetics and functionality.
