The Classic Fusion 42 Black Magic reference 542.CM.1171.RX belongs to Hublot's Classic Fusion collection, which since 1980 embodies the "Art of Fusion" philosophy. The 42mm case combines high-density black ceramic with resin in a material dialogue unusual in contemporary watchmaking. The ceramic provides Vickers hardness superior to steel and scratch resistance, while resin lightens the case structure for comfortable wrist wear. The case houses the Hublot HUB1110 automatic movement with hours, minutes, seconds and date indication. The 20mm lug width balances the case mass with strap proportion, a distinctive design trait of the Classic Fusion.
