Not in the traditional sense. The bracelet is integrated into the case and the attachment system is Hublot's proprietary design: a standard strap simply cannot connect. What I do in the atelier is build the strap directly around the case, studying every millimetre of the attachment system. It takes time and precision, but it is the only viable approach.

I work through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment only, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I take the measurements directly from the case at the bench and study the profile of the lugs. Every element is shaped by hand to ensure a precise fit. Please do not send the watch by post — this kind of work cannot be done remotely.

I recommend matte Mississippi alligator. The carbon and ceramic have a dense, almost industrial texture — a glossy leather would clash with that character. Matte alligator maintains the technical-sporting tone of the case without softening it too much. I have tried other options, but this is the combination that works best with these materials.

A strap built with quality leather and solid stitching will comfortably last eight to ten years with regular use. Care makes a real difference: avoid direct water contact and apply a conditioning cream every few months. Leather changes over time — it softens, takes the shape of the wrist. That is not deterioration; it is character accumulated through wear.

It means Hublot built this watch around the idea of combining seemingly incompatible materials — carbon, ceramic, steel — into a single coherent object. For the strap, this is a real challenge: the material chosen must engage with at least one of those three elements, not ignore them. This is not a watch that forgives generic choices. It requires a considered decision, made by looking closely at the case.
