No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case—there is no spring bar lug that accepts a conventional strap. I've watched several owners try it. It doesn't work. For this watch, I build the strap made-to-measure, fitted directly to your wrist and the case geometry.

I take measurements directly from your case, study the integrated lug millimetre by millimetre, and craft metal terminals that match the bicolour finish. The result is seamless: the strap becomes a natural extension of the watch.

I favour alligator or crocodile with a smooth, matte finish. The Alpine Eagle is an elegant sports watch—the leather must have that understated authority, no surrender to easy shine. I've seen this watch compromised by glossy or overly soft leathers. A properly structured skin respects it.

With regular wear, between 5 and 8 years. Leather ages, develops patina, colour evolves—to me that's beauty, not decay. If you care for it, clean it occasionally and keep it out of constant sunlight, it lasts longer. And when the time comes, I restore or remake it from scratch.

Karl-Friedrich Scheufele designed it that way in 2019 as a reinterpretation of the 1980 St. Moritz. The octagonal bezel with visible screws and the bracelet flowing from the case create an organic architecture—inspired by the Alpine eagle. It's not ornament: it's construction. This is why the lug attachment tolerates no compromise in strap execution.
