The MR-G MRG-G1000D-1ADR, seen from the bench

The MR-G MRG-G1000D-1ADR is Casio's G-SHOCK flagship model, featuring brushed titanium Sallaz case with GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor and Triple G Resist technology. The 54.70mm diameter case is paired with an integrated bracelet requiring precision customization. Milano Straps offers bespoke strap solutions through Atelier Casati Milano, crafted with hand-modeled attachments using Tuscan leather or stratified Barenia to complement the titanium architecture.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap on the Casio MR-G MRG-G1000D-1ADR?

No. The bracelet is integrated into the case—there's no proprietary or standard lug where a regular strap can attach. I've seen many failed attempts. The only way is to have a custom strap built directly onto the watch.

How does the custom strap work for the MR-G?

Come to the Casati Milano atelier, by appointment. I bring the watch to the bench and measure every millimetre of the case geometry. My craftsmen hand-model the lugs, integrating the strap as if it was born with the watch.

Which leather do you recommend for this model?

I prefer tempered Tuscan leather. It has the solidity that titanium deserves, and ages in a way that complements the technical-sportive character of the watch without weakness. Stratified Barenia is the alternative if you want a more refined patina.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With daily wear, 5 to 7 years. It depends on how you treat it: good leather improves if you stitch it well and care for it. The junction zone with the case lasts years because I work with the fibres, not against them. Longevity is a matter of craftsmanship.

Why does the integrated bracelet require this special approach?

The MRG-G1000D-1ADR is built with brushed titanium and a geometry that doesn't accept compromise. A standard strap would create a visible, broken discontinuity. Custom-made, it dialogues with the case and the result is coherent, almost organic. It's the respect a technical work deserves.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
