Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock GA-100 GA-100B-7A?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the resin case. The attachment is proprietary – a standard strap won't fit. If you want to change the look, I craft a custom strap directly in the atelier, modelled to the geometry of your case.

How does the bespoke strap work for the GA-100?

Everything starts with an appointment at Casati Milano, on Via XX Settembre 15. I take measurements directly from your case, study the profiles, calculate the attachments. Then I work the material by hand so the strap dialogues perfectly with the G-Shock's architecture.

Which leather do you recommend for the Casio G-Shock GA-100?

I recommend vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather. This watch has a sportive, military character – vegetable leather ages beautifully over time and resists wear. Alternatively, premium NATO in Italian regenerated yarn: practical, ethical, faithful to the model's DNA.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With care, 4–5 years of intensive use. Vegetable leather improves with time, patinas naturally. Basic maintenance – wipe with a damp cloth, avoid heavy water exposure – extends its life. When the attachment starts to wear, I return to the atelier and reinforce it.

Why was the GA-100 born as an indestructible watch?

Kikuo Ibe designed it in 1983 to withstand impact – the first true revolution in sports watchmaking. The multi-layer resin architecture absorbs shocks. An icon that conquered the wrists of soldiers and athletes. It deserves a strap that respects its vocation.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
