Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Cartier Tank WSTA0010 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fit a standard strap on the Cartier Tank WSTA0010?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and does not follow standard proprietary lugs. A universal strap will not attach. For this model I work only bespoke at the Casati Milano Atelier, crafting the strap directly to your case geometry.
How does the bespoke strap service work for the Tank?
I sit with you in the atelier, take measurements directly from your case lugs, and study how the strap must flow along that classical geometry. Then I craft it by hand. We work by appointment only at Casati Milano. It's the only way to guarantee aesthetic continuity between case and strap.
Which leather do you recommend for the Tank?
I prefer Mississippi Alligator with small scales: it has that mineral sobriety which speaks naturally to the Tank's pure geometry. If you love visible patina and character, I suggest natural Barenia, which develops colour over time and tells your wrist's story. Swift remains the refined choice without compromise.
How long does a well-made strap last?
Seven to twelve years of daily wear, depending on how you treat it and how often you wear it. Quality leather ages well: it develops colour, softness, a history. Protect it from stagnant water and forced creases. A well-crafted strap doesn't wear out: it transforms.
Why does the Cartier Tank WSTA0010 deserve a bespoke strap?
The Tank springs from a precise geometric vision — Louis Cartier designed it in 1917 looking down at Renault tanks from above. That rectangular purity lives in the proportions between case and lugs. A generic strap breaks that dialogue. In the atelier I rebuild that continuity, respecting the architecture that graced the wrists of Warhol and Kennedy.
