For the two-tone steel and yellow gold case of the Galactic, a vegetable-tanned alligator strap in cognac or honey is the most coherent choice: the belly grain complements the polished bezel and enhances the warm tones of the gold. Alternatively, a smooth calfskin in burgundy or black offers everyday versatility with a progressive patina over time.

To replace the strap, a fine-tipped spring bar tool is required. Insert the tip into the dedicated lug slot, compress the spring bar and slide the strap out. Care must be taken not to scratch the two-tone steel and yellow gold case. If in doubt, it is advisable to entrust the operation to a watchmaker or to the Casati Milano atelier.

The lifespan of a leather strap depends on the quality of the tanning, daily use and maintenance.
