The lug width of the Breitling Endurance Pro X82310A51B1S1 is 22mm. This measurement is taken internally between the case lugs and determines the correct strap width to fit the watch. For balanced proportions, a tapered strap from 22mm at the lug end to 20mm at the buckle end is recommended.

For sporting use, vulcanised rubber with a ribbed texture is the most functional choice: waterproof, lightweight and sweat-resistant. For smarter occasions, a vegetable-tanned calf leather in tonal black or anthracite, or a matte alligator strap, pairs rigorously with the Breitlight® case. A bicolour orange-black NATO strap echoes the original dial colour scheme.

The strap is removed using a springbar tool or a professional lug lever, applying pressure to the spring bar inside the lug. It is essential to use a tool with a protected tip to avoid scratching the Breitlight® case. When fitting the new strap, ensure the 1.5mm diameter spring bars are correctly seated in both lugs before releasing tension.
