No. The bracelet is integrated into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The attachment is proprietary and the asymmetric oval case geometry makes any generic solution unworkable. In the atelier I build the strap directly on the watch, starting from the physical case.

I work through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment only, at our atelier on Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. The watch comes to the bench and I take all measurements from the physical case — not from spec sheets or photographs. Every attachment is shaped by hand, one piece at a time.

I prefer Mississippi alligator with small-scale grain in mother-of-pearl or ice-white tones. The white gold and diamond case has a cool, refined light: a fine-grained leather in a luminous colour works with that light rather than competing with it. I avoid anything too dark or too matte — lightness is what this watch calls for.

A properly crafted alligator strap, on a watch worn with some care, easily lasts five to seven years. The leather ages: it develops a patina that reflects use, and I consider that a quality, not a flaw. I keep it away from direct moisture and perfume, and occasionally apply a neutral conditioner to the outer surface.

Breguet designed it in homage to Carolina Bonaparte, Queen of Naples, who wore the watch on her wrist as an evening ornament. The oval shape follows the contour of the female wrist — it is a functional decision, not a decorative one. It is one of the few cases in watchmaking history born with a precise anatomical identity, and you can still see it today.
