Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26703ST.OO.A070CA.01 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a strap be fitted to the Royal Oak Offshore 26703ST.OO.A070CA.01?
The bracelet is integrated into the case: a standard strap has no way of attaching. The lug system is proprietary, with an octagonal geometry that does not accept conventional spring bars. I build each strap to measure, directly on the watch, in the atelier.
How does the bespoke service work for this model?
I work exclusively by appointment at Casati Milano, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I take measurements from the case itself at the workbench: every attachment is shaped by hand to follow the octagonal curve of the Offshore. Please do not send the watch — the work is done with the piece in front of me.
Which leather do I recommend for the Royal Oak Offshore in stainless steel?
For this model I favour Mississippi Alligator: its texture holds its own against the muscular character of the Offshore without overwhelming it. The natural scale pattern works well alongside the visible hexagonal screws and octagonal bezel. If you prefer something that evolves over time, aged Barenia develops a patina that tells the story of every hour worn.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With basic care — keeping it away from water and rotating between straps if you have more than one — a quality leather strap lasts between five and ten years. The leather does not deteriorate: it transforms. After the first few months it softens and takes the shape of the wrist, becoming noticeably more comfortable. That is the sign of a living material.
What makes the Offshore different from the classic Royal Oak?
The Offshore was born in the 1990s as a sportier, bolder interpretation of Gérald Genta's original design. The 42mm case, octagonal bezel and exposed hexagonal screws amplify everything already present in the classic Royal Oak, but in a more assertive register. I have seen many watches pass through my hands: few have this ability to command attention at the wrist while maintaining such rigorous formal coherence.
