Strap for Royal Oak OffShore 26231 Lady Chronograph Stainless Steel / Silver / Diamond

The bracelet is integrated into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The attachment is part of the watch's own architecture. To fit a strap, it must be built to measure, directly on the watch, in the atelier.

I work exclusively by appointment at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench and take measurements directly from the case: every millimetre of the attachment is shaped by hand to follow the hexagonal profile of the Offshore. I don't use generic templates. Each piece is built from scratch on that specific watch.

For a watch with this character — sporting yet built on substantial proportions — I prefer Mississippi Alligator. It holds its own visually against the case without disappearing. If you want something that grows with you over time, Barenia develops a patina that honestly and beautifully records years of wear.

A strap built with top-grade leather and solid stitching easily lasts five to seven years of regular use. It depends greatly on how you care for it: avoid prolonged exposure to water, let it breathe, rotate it if you have more than one. Barenia in particular improves with age — the marks of use become part of its character, not flaws.

The Royal Oak Offshore was born in 1993 as a larger, bolder response to Gérald Genta's 1972 design. The oversized case and exposed hexagonal screws are not decorative details: they openly declare the structure. This steel reference with its polished-satin finish carries that logic forward without softening it.
