A strap built with selected leather and solid stitching easily lasts five to seven years of regular wear — sometimes more. It depends on how it is treated: kept away from direct water, allowed to breathe when not worn. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it transforms, takes the shape of the wrist, and becomes more personal with time.

In 1993 Audemars Piguet took Genta's design language and pushed it further: a larger case, a screwed octagonal bezel, a physical presence that asks no permission.
