No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there is no standard lug to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The attachment is proprietary and requires dedicated work. In the atelier I build the strap to measure, starting from the actual structure of the watch.

I work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case and shape every fitting by hand. I do not work from photographs or declared measurements: the watch must be present.

For an Offshore in pink gold my choice goes to Mississippi Alligator dyed ton-sur-ton with the metal. Pink gold has a particular warmth that brown or cognac leathers can dialogue with without overpowering it. This watch already has a strong personality: the leather should accompany, not compete.

With ordinary care — keeping it away from prolonged water exposure, letting it breathe between uses — a well-built strap lasts between five and eight years. Quality leather ages with character: the first patina on the edges is a sign of life, not a defect. The critical point is always the buckle hole: I reinforce it specifically for that reason.

The octagonal case with visible hexagonal screws is a code that Gérald Genta built with precise logic: every element has a function and a position. In pink gold that geometry shifts in visual weight — it becomes less aggressive, more calibrated. I have seen many Offshore pieces over the years: this one engages with the wrist differently, more discreet yet still unmistakable.
