No. The bracelet is integrated into the case: there is no conventional lug to attach a standard strap. The attachment point is part of the watch's own architecture. The only way forward is a bespoke strap, built directly on the watch, in the atelier.

I work by appointment only, at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>. The watch must be present: I take measurements from the actual case, not from technical sheets. Every attachment is shaped by hand to follow Genta's original geometry, millimetre by millimetre.

On a yellow gold Royal Oak, I favour naturally aged Barenia. It has a living quality: it transforms with wear, developing a warm patina that speaks to the tone of the gold without overwhelming it. It is a leather that grows alongside the watch, not merely beside it.

With a quality leather and basic care, I count on five to eight years of regular wear. Keep it away from prolonged contact with water and let it breathe after a warm day. Noble leathers like Barenia do not deteriorate: they mature, and after a few years they have something to say.

Genta designed a case that leaves no room for approximation: the octagonal bezel with its exposed hexagonal screws demands total coherence from everything around it. When I build a strap for this watch, that geometry guides me. A careless finish shows immediately — the watch makes sure of it.
