The watch is brought to the atelier, where the master leatherworker takes direct measurements of the lug profile, curvature and every relevant dimension from the actual piece. From those measurements, a strap is assembled, hand-stitched and hand-finished around that specific Royal Oak. During the appointment, the client selects the leather, colour, buckle or deployant clasp and stitch type: every detail is calibrated to the scale of the model and the wearer's preferences.

Hornback alligator, with its natural relief, creates a precise visual dialogue with the Tapisserie texture of the dial without appearing excessive. Smooth box-calf offers an elegant counterpoint between the organic softness of leather and the cold geometry of steel, developing a personal patina over time. For a more contemporary reading, reversed calf or nubuck introduces a matte surface that balances the lustre of the case's polished facets.

A strap crafted from quality leather, hand-stitched with waxed thread and edge-finished using burnishing or paint techniques can accompany the watch for many years with ordinary care.
