Strap for Royal Oak 67617 Pink Gold / Pink / Floral

On this Royal Oak, the bracelet is integrated into the case — it is part of the watch's architecture, not a separate component. A standard strap will not attach: the lug system is proprietary and requires dedicated work. In my atelier, I build each strap directly on the watch, bespoke.

I work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. You bring the watch: I take the measurements directly from the case, with no guesswork. Every attachment is built for that specific piece, not from a generic template.

I prefer Mississippi alligator in nude or warm cognac tones: it complements the pink gold without competing with it, and brings a suppleness that balances the octagonal bezel's geometry. If something drier and more everyday is preferred, natural barenia ages beautifully and develops a patina with genuine character.

With basic care — keeping it away from prolonged contact with water and letting it breathe — a quality alligator or barenia strap will comfortably last five to seven years. Good leather does not deteriorate: it transforms. The patina that builds with wear tells the story of how and how often the watch has been used — to me, that is the most honest part of a strap.

In 1972, Gérald Genta proposed a sports watch in precious metal with an integrated bracelet — it was a sharp break from everything being done at the time. The octagonal bezel with exposed screws was an almost provocative gesture. I have seen many watches from that era pass through my bench: few have that formal coherence between case, bracelet and dial that the Royal Oak still carries today, without any strain.
