Strap for Royal Oak 67605 Pink Gold / Diamond / MOP / Strap

On this Royal Oak, the bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there is no standard lug where an off-the-shelf strap can be attached. That is simply the nature of this watch, not a drawback. For anyone who still wants to change the strap, I build it to measure directly on the watch, in the atelier.

I work by appointment only at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I take measurements from the actual case, not from diagrams or drawings: every terminal is shaped by hand to follow the octagonal geometry. That is the only way to do this properly.

For a Royal Oak in pink gold I choose Mississippi Alligator. The natural scale texture works well alongside the tapisserie dial without overpowering it. The warmth of pink gold calls for a leather with real character, not something generic.

A strap built properly, with top-quality leather, easily lasts five years of daily wear, often longer. The key is to keep it away from water and let it breathe between uses. Over time the leather softens and takes the shape of the wrist: that is a sign of quality, not of wear.

In 1972 Gérald Genta did something that seemed wrong at the time: he took an octagonal case with exposed hexagonal screws and built an integrated bracelet around it. Nobody had done that before with those materials and that level of precision. What looked like a technical detail became the defining character of the entire Royal Oak family.
