Integrated bracelet
The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 26585XT.OO.1220XT.01 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a strap be fitted to the Royal Oak 26585XT.OO.1220XT.01?
The bracelet on this Royal Oak is integrated into the case: there is no standard lug to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The watch was designed as a single object — case, bracelet, geometry. The only solution is a bespoke attachment, built from the actual watch, in the atelier.
How does the bespoke strap service work for this model?
I work exclusively by appointment at Casati Milano, in Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, study the curves of the titanium and BMG case, and build the attachments by shaping the leather directly around the original geometry. There are no templates: every piece is made from scratch on that specific watch.
Which leather do I recommend for the Royal Oak in titanium and BMG?
I choose aged Barenia. Titanium has a sober, almost mineral character, and the BMG adds a technical hardness that needs no ornament. Barenia responds well to wear, develops a patina that tells the story of time without shouting. It is a leather that ages with dignity, which is exactly what this watch calls for.
How long does a well-made strap last on a watch of this calibre?
With quality leather and basic care — keeping it away from standing water, letting it breathe, not folding it in the same spot repeatedly — I would estimate five to seven years of daily wear. Barenia and Tuscan leather settle to the wrist over time, becoming softer and more personal. They do not deteriorate: they evolve.
What makes the Royal Oak in titanium and BMG different from earlier versions?
BMG — Bulk Metallic Glass — is an amorphous alloy: it has no crystalline structure like traditional metals, which makes it extraordinarily scratch-resistant and exceptionally light on the wrist alongside the titanium. Gérald Genta in 1972 treated steel as a noble material; Audemars Piguet today applies that same logic to alloys that barely existed outside the aerospace industry a few years ago. Same philosophy, fifty years of metallurgy further on.
The next step
The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
