Not in the conventional sense. The bracelet is integrated into the case: there is no standard lug where an off-the-shelf strap can be attached. The only way to change it is to build a bespoke attachment, shaped directly around the geometry of your specific piece. That is what I do in the atelier, one watch at a time.

I work by appointment only, through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, my atelier at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. You bring the watch: I take measurements directly from the case, study the curve of the attachment, and build the strap around that specific geometry. No templates. Every piece starts from scratch on the physical watch.

For a Royal Oak in titanium with a flyback chronograph, my choice is hand-treated Tuscan leather with a brushed finish to echo the case. Titanium has a technical, understated character: a leather that is too formal or too polished creates a contrast that simply does not work. Tuscan leather ages with the wrist, adapts, and keeps a sporting read without tipping into casual.

With quality leather and solid construction, I count on five to eight years of regular use. It depends greatly on how you care for it: I always keep a second strap for summer, because perspiration wears leather faster than time does. With the right conditioning, the leather does not deteriorate — it transforms, takes on the shape of the wrist, and often looks better than the day I delivered it.

The flyback lets you reset and restart the chronograph in a single action, without stopping and restarting in two separate steps. It is a function born in aviation, where every second matters. On this Royal Oak the mechanics match the character of the case: nothing superfluous, everything in service of legibility. I have seen many complicated chronographs over the years — a well-calibrated flyback is one of those complications you genuinely appreciate in use, not just under glass.
