Not in the conventional sense. The bracelet is integrated into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach an aftermarket strap. The only option is to build one to measure, directly around the geometry of this watch, in the atelier.

I work through <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, by appointment only, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. The watch comes to the bench, I study the proprietary attachment and take measurements directly from the case. This cannot be done remotely: every curve is shaped against the original.

I would recommend Barenia vegetable-tanned leather, without hesitation. Titanium has a quiet, matte sobriety that calls for a dense, compact hide — one that ages with character rather than noise. Barenia answers that brief precisely: it starts firm, then moulds to the wrist and tells the story of its years.

With quality leather and basic care — keeping it away from water, letting it breathe between wears — five to eight years is a realistic estimate. Vegetable-tanned leather does not deteriorate: it changes. After a few years it has a depth the new strap simply does not yet possess.

Genta designed it in 1972 as a continuum: case and bracelet are not two pieces joined together — they are a single formal architecture that flows. Removing the bracelet, even visually, breaks that logic. That is precisely why any alternative solution must be built with the same discipline: bespoke, millimetre by millimetre.
