Strap for Royal Oak 26312 Chronograph Bucherer 125th Anniversary

The Royal Oak's bracelet is integrated into the case: there is no standard lug to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The attachment is proprietary, designed by Genta as an inseparable part of the watch's architecture. This is why I work on each strap directly with the watch in hand, in the atelier, building the attachment from scratch.

I work exclusively by appointment at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. Bring the watch: I take measurements directly from the case, observe the real proportions, and build the attachment to suit the Royal Oak's octagonal geometry. I do not work from photographs or technical drawings — I need the watch in my hands.

For a watch with this kind of sporting elegance, I prefer naturally aged Barenia. It has a substance that holds up to daily wear without losing character, and over time it develops a patina that reflects the person wearing it. It is a leather that grows alongside the watch, not one that simply wears out.

A strap in quality leather, worn and cared for properly, easily lasts five to seven years. The care is straightforward: keep it away from water, let it breathe after a warm day, and occasionally condition the hide with a natural balm. Leather ages well when treated as the living material it is.

The octagonal case with integrated bracelet leaves no margin for error: every misalignment shows immediately. Genta built a system where case and bracelet communicate with precision, and a handcrafted attachment must respect that logic without compromising it. I have seen generic straps attempted on Royal Oaks: the result is always wrong, visually before anything else. That is why I insist on working directly with the watch.
