Strap for Royal Oak 26129 Chronograph Pink Gold / Brown

The bracelet is integrated into the case: there is no standard lug to attach an off-the-shelf strap. This is not a limitation — it is a precise design decision. In the atelier I build the attachment directly on the watch, bespoke, with no compromises.

I work by appointment only, at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, Via XX Settembre 15. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements from the actual case and shape each attachment by hand. There are no templates: every strap is born from that specific watch.

For an watch with this sporting yet refined character and the warm tone of pink gold, my choice is naturally aged Barenia. It develops a patina that speaks to the metal without mimicking it. As an alternative, first-cut Mississippi Alligator holds the attachment structure well and gives a more formal reading.

With proper care, five years of daily wear is a starting point, not a limit. Keep the leather away from direct water and condition it every few months. Barenia in particular improves over time — it marks the wrist, catches the light, tells the story of the person wearing it.

Gérald Genta used eight exposed hexagonal screws and an octagonal bezel in 1972, at a time when nobody was doing that. The integration between case and bracelet was structural, not decorative. When I build a strap for this watch, that continuity of line is the first thing I keep in mind.
