The Royal Oak was introduced in 1972 as the first luxury sports watch in steel. Reference 26022BA.OO.D098CR.01 is equipped with the automatic AP 2385 caliber with column-wheel chronograph function, hours, minutes, small seconds and date. Octagonal case with screw-down bezel and integrated bracelet according to the original design by Gérald Genta.
