Not in the conventional sense. The bracelet is integrated into the case: there are no standard lugs to which an off-the-shelf strap can be attached. The only proper solution is to build a bespoke terminal directly on the watch, in the atelier.

I work exclusively by appointment at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case and shape every terminal by hand to ensure a seamless visual flow with the white gold case. There are no templates: each strap is built from scratch on that specific watch.

I prefer Mississippi Alligator in slate grey or midnight blue: it holds the sporty character of the watch without betraying the refinement of the white gold. Barenia is a valid alternative for those who prefer a warmer register, but on the 15551BC alligator has a personality I find more coherent with Genta's architecture.

With ordinary care, five to eight years of regular wear is a realistic target. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it ages, develops a patina, and conforms to the wrist. The real enemy is prolonged moisture — I always remove the strap before washing my hands or doing intense sport.

Genta drew something without precedent: a sports case in steel — and later gold — with an octagonal bezel and exposed screws, designed to resemble nothing that already existed. The geometry was an open challenge to the conventions of the trade. Fifty years on, that same formal tension is still legible on the wrist, without need for explanation.
