No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach a ready-made strap. The only viable option is to build a bespoke attachment, starting from the actual geometry of the watch. That is what I do in the atelier, every time.

I work exclusively by appointment at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, study every angle of the integrated terminal, and shape the attachments by hand, millimetre by millimetre. There is no template: every strap is born from that specific watch.

I choose naturally aged Barenia. The Odysseus is a sports watch with a deeply German soul — precise, rigorous, never excessive. Barenia responds to that character: it starts firm, then opens up with wear and tells time honestly. It does not seek attention; it earns it.

With quality leather and minimal care, I count on five years of daily wear, often more. Keep it away from prolonged water exposure and let it breathe between uses. Good leather does not deteriorate: it transforms, and that transformation is part of its worth.

It is the first sports watch the Glashütte manufacture has ever produced, after more than 175 years dedicated exclusively to German haute horlogerie complications. A house that had never pursued the sporting wrist decided to enter that territory with a steel case and integrated bracelet — without stylistic compromise. I have seen very few debuts this consistent with the identity of the one signing them.
