You can verify it manually with a digital caliper by measuring the internal width of the lug between the two case lugs.

To change the strap, you need to remove the spring bars using a specific tool (spring bar tool). Position the tool on the small lateral groove of the spring bar, apply gentle pressure to compress the internal spring and slide the bar out from the case. Repeat on the other side. Insert the new strap by aligning the holes at the ends of the lugs and slide the spring bars into position until they click into place.
