If you seek durability, burgundy or black shell cordovan offers character without compromise. For everyday wear, a grey FKM rubber is practical and understated.

Position the watch on a soft surface. Use a spring bar tool to remove the lug pins, or contact a watchmaker. Insert the tip of the tool into the tiny hole beneath the lug to compress the internal spring, then extract the old strap. Insert the pins into the new strap and position it on the case, allowing the spring to close naturally.
