No, the bracelet is integrated into the case. There are no standard spring bars where you could attach a strap. I've seen too many wrong attempts. The only way is to build a bespoke strap directly on the watch, respecting the geometry of the yellow gold case.

We work at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Atelier Casati Milano</a>, by appointment only. I take the watch in hand, we measure the case millimetre by millimetre, and I build the strap by hand-shaping the leather so it fits perfectly with the lugs and the yellow gold case. It's pure craftsmanship, not a quick process.

Mississippi Alligator. This watch has an elegant yet robust presence – built in the Eighties with a sporting spirit. Alligator ages beautifully, develops patina, and holds up to daily wear without losing dignity. With yellow gold, the contrast is perfect.

It depends on use and care. A strap in fine leather lasts 5–8 years with regular wear, often longer if you treat it as it deserves. The leather changes colour, picks up marks, ages – these are the scars of life. Not a flaw, but character earned.

They are not decorations. Carol Didisheim conceived them as architecture of the case itself – they protect the sapphire crystal and define the watch's style. A poorly made strap betrays them. That's why I always build keeping those four lines in mind: the strap must dialogue with them, not hide them.
