Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock 6900 DW6900CS4ER?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the case and uses a proprietary attachment system. A standard strap won't fit. For this model, I craft the strap directly in the atelier, made to measure on the geometry of your resin case.

How does the made-to-measure strap work for the G-Shock 6900?

I work by appointment only at Casati Milano, Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I take measurements directly from your watch, study the proprietary attachment, and create a strap that fits with millimetre precision to your case.

Which leather do you recommend for this model?

I prefer Vegetable-Tanned Tuscan Leather: it has the durability a tactical instrument like the 6900 demands, ages beautifully, and develops a patina that speaks to the watch's military soul. For something more sporty, tactical Suede is a solid choice.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With the leathers I select, at least 4–5 years of daily wear. Longevity depends on how you treat it: avoid prolonged moisture and condition the leather occasionally. Good leather ages wonderfully, becomes softer, and tells the story of the person wearing it.

What makes the G-Shock 6900 different from modern G-Shocks?

It's the archetype: launched in the '90s, it has the signature triple-eye design and a 53mm resin case built to withstand extreme impact. It's not elegant in a traditional sense—it's a tool. That's its appeal: pure function, no aesthetic compromise.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
